Tour Overview

Nepal is famous for its historical sites and archaeological sites. Where our trip is starting from Phutentsholing which is thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian plains, situated directly at the base of the Himalayan foothills. After a night in Phuentsholing we will move towards Thimphu where we can have a visit to different monasteries like Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyaland and then have a visit to Simtokha Dzong- the oldest fortress of the Kingdom which now houses the School for religious and cultural studies. After that have some rest and keep some amazing sightseeing for the next day of Thimphu. The next day starts and starts with a visit to Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue) a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang, National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum and in the afternoon have a visit to the Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Taking Preserve Centre, The talking national animal of Bhutan can be seen here Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion) Uptill now you understand that Nepal is a country with a lot of monasteries and Dzongs. After visitng thimphu we’ll get transfer to PARO where we’ll start our day with Hike to Tiger’s Nest Taktshang and after that in the last do have a visit to the Paro Bazar for shopping and also have a visit to Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". Phuentsholing

  • Arrive at Bagdogra Airport. 
  • Once you arrive at Bagdogra Airport you will meet with your guide at the parking and you will be transferred to Phuentsholing.
  • Check in the hotel and take some rest.
  • The evening is at leisure or you can roam around the market. You will get beautiful souvenirs, Gift Items Handicrafts items from Bhutan. 
  • After visiting the market, have dinner at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Phuentsholing.

2Days
Phuentsholing – Thimphu

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast at the hotel, the tour Guide will come to your hotel to receive you & take you to immigration office at Phuentsholing to complete your immigration facilities. 
  • Then transfer to Thimphu, the capital town of Bhutan, and enroute visit the famous Kharbandi Gompa from where we have the scenic view of phuntsholing valley is visible. 
  • And in between the route see through the valleys rocky mountains and green forest. On the way stop for two points they are 
    • Dam view point 
    • Dantak view point 
  • Check in to your hotel.

Thimphu – Dochu-La-Pass - Punakha Sightseeing – Thimphu

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast proceed for the day trip of Punakha.
  • On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.) to view the higher Himalayas.
  • After having visit to the Dochula Pass that is located between Thimphu and Punkaha here you can see scenic view of the Eastern Himalayan. Pass do visit the Punakha Dzong It is the most beautiful Dzong located at in two rivers named Pho Chu (male) and Mo Chu (female) in Punakha, Punakha Suspension Bridge - One of the oldest suspension bridges in the world, Punakha Suspension Bridge in Bhutan was believed to be built by the Buddhist Monk, Thangtong Gyalpo. 
  • In evening get transferred to Thimphu.
  • Dinner at the hotel in Thimphu.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.

Thimphu – Paro

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • After breakfast transfer to Paro (7,483 ft.)
  • On the way to Paro visit the Tamchog Lhakhang – It is situated between Thimphu and Paro . Situated on a hill top, we have to cross an ancient style bridge to reach the temple. 
  • After the arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel in Paro.
  • Overnight Stay at the hotel in Paro.

Paro Sightseeing

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • After the breakfast proceed to the following Paro Local Sightseeing Simtokha Dzong, National Museum of Bhutan, Ta Dzong, Rinpung Dzong –Rinpung Dzong is also known as Paro Dzong it is the best tourist attraction point in part The Ruin of Drukgyel Dzong. It provides a wonderful architectural insight to the structure of forts in Bhutan. Kyichu Lhakhang (Monastery) It is one of the oldest monasteries in the country, Paro Airport View this is one of the most stunning airports in the World and also the country’s first and only international airport. With a breathtaking view, this airport became a must-visit place in Paro. 
  • Overnight Stay at the hotel in Paro.

Paro –Phuentsheling- Gorumara (270 Kms/ 6 Hrs)

  • After breakfast check out from hotel. 
  • Get transfered to Gorumara Via Phuentsheling .

Gorumara – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport

  • Have a early morning visit to "Gorumara National Park” a National Park in Northern West Bengal, located in the Terai region of the Himalayan foothills. It is a medium-sized park with grasslands and forests. It is primarily known for its population of Indian Rhinoceros. You will enjoy Jeep Safari here (By Own Cost)..
  • After breakfast check out from the Hotel and transfer to IXB Airport.

Restricted Area Permit for Punakha 

  • If you have sended color scanned passport copy in advance we will take punakha permit in advance.
  • If you are traveling with the Voter id card or not sent your passport in advance. The special permit for Punakha will be processed in Department of Immigrations, Thimphu; in production of the entry permit.
  • This special permit is given only after guest has entered Bhutan. 
  • Permits are not issued on Saturday, Sunday & Bhutan Govt. holidays.

  • Adults must carry original & valid Passport or original Voter ID card. 
  • Children must carry original & valid Passport or original birth certificate.  
  • Remember to carry and other packings as per seasons and personal requirements (including hiking shoes)
