The city of Phuket is known for its cultural richness it is also the capital of Thailand's Phuket provinces—divided into two parts, the old town of Phuket (sino-Portuguese architecture and traditionally inclined locales) and the new town of Phuket (known for the luxurious lifestyle and modern way of living).
