Summer Season (March to May)

By Air

Keshod has the nearest airport stop to Gir National Park (85 km distant) and the second option is Rajkot airport (140 km distant). You can also land at the Diu Airport which is almost 49 kms away from the Gir National Park. 

By Road

Gir has impressive connectivity with the roadways from neighbouring cities of the country, for which you can take a government or private bus from the major cities such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Dwarka, Rajkot, Surat, etc and reach Junagadh from where you can take a cab or local/ personal vehicle. Sasan Gir by the name Gir National Park is conveniently reachable from Junagadh, approximately located at a distance of 65 kilometres. And if someone is coming from Ahmedabad, the estimated time to reach Sasan Gir or the Gir National Park is almost 7 hours. 

By Train

To reach Gir National Park you need to reach the Sasan Gir railway station which is the nearest to Gir. The Sasan Gir railway station is well connected with the major Indian cities and you can easily catch a train to either reach Rajkot or Jungadh from where you must take a cab or local vehicle to Gir.
