Itinerary
- Arrive at Leh airport in the morning and pick up from the airport
- Reach out to the hotel and take a rest at almost 3500 meters of heightened altitude
- Go for an exploration of the local markets
- Visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, Sankar Monastery, etc in the afternoon
- Return to the hotel, have dinner, and an overnight stay in Leh
- Have breakfast in the morning, and drive to Indus Valley Monastery
- The day trip also includes Shey, Thiksay, and Hemis
- Come back to the hotel and have an overnight stay post-dinner, in Leh
Shey is the ancient capital of Ladakh, which serves the most scenic and landscape beauty of the Nature spread across the region. On the other hand, Thiksay is one of the developing complexes straight upon the hills above the village. Hemis Gompa is one of the largest foundations of monasteries related to the Drukpa Kagyu clan of Buddhism.
- Have breakfast in the morning and leave for Nubra Valley by surface via Khardong-la(the highest pass in the world traveled by motor)
- Drive up to 18,380 ft at heights for camp set-up
- After fixing the camping nets, enjoy your lunch
- Ride double-humped camels on Hunder dune after lunch
- Overnight stay in camps, have the moment of your life in lit
- Have your morning feast in camp and drive towards Deskit later
- Visit the Deskit monastery (Deskit is Nubra’s headquarters)
- Drive back to Leh after the excursion
- Explore and shopping sprees in the local market of Leh
- Overnight stay and dinner in Leh
- Have your breakfast and drive to Pangong Lake via Changla Pass which is 5486 metres away
- Ascending the Changla pass, enjoy the panorama of old villages and beautiful mountains crossing the pass
- Halt at Tsoltak for a lunch picnic (known as the summer pastureland of the wild yaks)
- Arrival at Durbuk and a snapshot of the most vibrant Lakeshore of the renowned blue brackish lake of Pangong
- Relish the nature and its essence, and drive off for camping
- Stay overnight in a camp around Pangong Lake.
Pangong Lake is 6 km wide and 145 km long of which half water flows on the Indo-China border.
- Enjoy your breakfast in the camp and take the road to drive to Leh on the way to Changla pass
- Rich Karu and drive towards Indus to visit Hemis monastery which is one of the biggest and renowned monasteries in Ladakh
- Drive towards the highway and reach Leh
- Have dinner and overnight stay in the hotel in Leh
- At leisure, enjoy your breakfast in the morning and leave for Uleytokpo
- In route visit the hall of fame and the famous Gurudwara Pather Sahib ( spituk monasteries date back to the 11th century in which Pather Sahib is considered the guardian's Temple)
- Explore the oldest surviving monastery complex of Leh, Alchi Choskor, and look through the minute details of painting and architecture of this complex
- After a beautiful day excursion drive back for a night stay
- Dinner and overnight stay at Uley camps.
- Enjoy a lavish breakfast in the morning and drive to sightsee the serenity of Lamayuru monastery
- After a day of exploration drive back toward Leh
- Have your dinner and have a relaxing overnight stay in a hotel in Leh.
- Have your breakfast in the morning and check out from the hotel
- Drive transfer towards the airport to take return flights to your home
